The Project’s
Big Weekend
You don't have to be a Pro to Play!
60 world-class boulders.
All abilities.
One huge weekend.
Climb 60 brand-new problems from V0 to V14, set by an all-star team of the UK’s best setters. Whether you’re in it for fun, the buzz, or the podium lights, The Big Weekend is about movement, community, and shared psyche.
What Is The Big Weekend?
Inspired by Europe’s best modern comps, The Big Weekend brings competition-style climbing to everyone.
We’re stripping every wall in the centre and resetting the entire gym with 60 standalone boulders. Expect bold movement, variety, and climbs you’ll be talking about all year.
Climb alongside some of the strongest climbers in the UK, then grab a drink and watch them battle it out in the Semi-Finals and Finals under the lights.

Yes. This is an open event. Our expectation is that anyone over the age of about 12 is likely to have a really good time on the boulders. Children younger than this may not have the best time as we’re not setting specifically for younger climbers however they are welcome to come and give it a go if they would like.
Our normal supervision rules apply with one small adjustment - the supervision ratio at this event will be 1:1
