Dear Project Family,
As you know, we’re always striving to bring you the best facilities and create the nicest place to spend time as possible. We’ve just celebrated our 4th birthday and it’s mainly thanks to you, our dedicated climbers, that we’ve been able to get to where we are today.
You may have noticed, however, that despite having grown at a fair pace during our first three years - we almost doubled the size of the climbing area, added a conditioning area, and bought tons of new holds for you to play on - we’ve not been able to maintain that rapid pace of development through this past year.
The slow down in development is largely down to the increase in the cost of running the centre; business rates have gone up, along with our rent, and even the price of climbing holds has increased by up to 40% since we opened in 2013!
Although we haven’t been able to bring you more wall to play on recently, we have tried to make sure that what we do have is kept fun and interesting for you to use. This why we aim to reset our walls every 6-8 weeks, and we’ve been working hard in the background to put plans in place for the future.
The Project - A Work in Progress
To be able to sustain all that we currently offer and bring you more, we have decided to create a new pricing structure, which will take effect from 1st January 2018. It has been a really tough decision for us to make, and we know that some of these changes are not insignificant, so we’ve done our best to make our membership and prepaid packages even better value for money. With your continued support, we hope that the facilities we offer you and the community that we’ve all grown to love over the past four years can continue to grow and thrive.
Increasing prices is never nice to do, but it is necessary from time to time. Yes, some of the memberships/packages are a bit of a jump, but please bear in mind they have been carefully considered in the specific context of our centre. Please trust us and be excited at what the future holds.
The indoor climbing industry has changed so much in the last five years and we are excited to see what we can achieve in the future. Thank you for your ongoing support, many kind words, and for being part of our Project. ❤

PRICING RESTRUCTURE CORRECTIONS
Following the recent announcement of our pricing restructure, we’d firstly like to say thank you to all of our lovely customers for being so understanding. Price increases are never fun, so we want to ensure that the changes we make can have a positive impact where possible. With this in mind, we’ve received lots of feedback from you and have decided to make a few amendments to the new structure.
MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP MINIMUM TERM
The 6 month minimum term for our monthly memberships has been scrapped, but please be aware that we will still require 3 months notice if you wish to cancel your membership.
PUNCH CARD EXPIRY
We are extending our expiry dates to 60 days for a 5 climb punch card and to 120 days for a 10 climb punch card. For those of you who don’t quite manage to get down to the wall once a week, this gives you a bit more time to ensure you get all your punches used up - and don’t forget, these can now be shared with a partner.
STRENGTH & CONDITIONING TRAINING ROOM
Originally our Training Room was only going to be accessible to those who opt for a Monthly Plus or Monthly Training membership. However, following all the interest we’ve received, we’ve decided it will now be available to all of our climbers for a £4 top up per session. Please note, you will be required to complete an induction with us before you are able to use the Training Room and it may not be available to use during busy periods - those who opt for a Monthly Plus or Monthly Training membership will be given priority.

2018 PRICE CHANGES
We’ve got a NEW 5 climb pass and a NEW 10 climb pass, meaning climbing sessions for adults are available from as little as £6 per climb, These replace the existing “12 for 10” passes, and they do have an expiry date on them, BUT you’ll be pleased to know these punches can now be shared with a partner! Following your feedback, we have extended the expiry periods for punch cards.
We’re also introducing a new 10 climb pass for under-18s, giving our younger climbers the chance to save a little extra, too.
Any pre-existing punch cards will be unaffected by the changes
For adults, memberships have now been simplified into the following four categories:
All monthly memberships will now be on a recurring payment basis (Direct Debit)* and come with loads of awesome new benefits:
Unlimited free first time guest passes
Two free “friend” (registered climbers only) passes per month
Free monthly coaching and training workshops
Free weekly conditioning classes
A tab for our in-house shop
One free yoga session per month

We’ve also got NEW monthly family memberships.
If you’re already on a monthly recurring payment plan with us, the amount you pay will remain UNCHANGED for 6 months. If you've got an existing pass of any length of course you can continue to use it until its expiry date, and all of the new benefits will be available to you at no extra cost. Following your feedback, there will no longer be a minimum 6 months commitment, but please be aware we will require 3 months notice if you wish to cancel your membership.
Monthly Plus Benefits
Something we are very excited to be introducing is our new strength and conditioning gym & training space! Full of conditioning equipment specifically tailored for climbers, along with climbing training boards, it will have all you need to up your training game. In addition to all of the normal member benefits, Monthly Plus members will have unlimited access to the gym and 1 free yoga class per week.
For access to the gym for PAYG climbers, regular Monthly membership holders, and Annual membership holders, a day pass can be purchased for a £4 top-up. Availability for this will be subject to how busy the gym is - Monthly Plus and Monthly Training members will have priority access. PAYG climbers, regular Monthly membership holders, and Annual membership holders must complete a mandatory induction before they are able to purchase a day passes.
Training Member Benefits
Training members will have access to all of the above benefits plus access to a customised monthly training program.**
*Cancellations must be made with a minimum of 90 days' notice.
**There are only a limited number of training memberships available owing to staffing implications of writing custom training programs
